Mishki : Late-Night Cravings, But Make It Protein

Late-night gelato usually isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you’re thinking about protein. In Canggu, Mishki Protein Gelato is making the two work together. Located on Jalan Pantai Batu Bolong, Mishki specialises in protein-focused gelato and stays open until 2am, making it an easy late-night stop after dinner or potentially after a late training session. Its current listing shows a 4.9-star rating from 749 reviews. But Mishki isn’t only about protein gelato.

Its menu also includes Protein Yogurt, Protein Snickers, Protein Coconut and Protein Waffle, extending the protein concept beyond the gelato itself. The menu currently lists gelato at Rp59K for one flavour, Rp79K for two and Rp99K for three, with 500g and 1kg home editions also available at Rp219K and Rp349K respectively.

For the gelato itself, flavours include options such as Peanut Butter, Double Chocolate and Protein Medovik, the latter inspired by the traditional Russian honey cake. The Protein Medovik is perhaps the most unexpected option on the menu. Inspired by the traditional Russian honey cake, it brings a classic dessert into Mishki’s protein-focused gelato range. The flavour is also an interesting nod to the owners’ Ukrainian, Italian and Russian backgrounds, adding a personal touch to a menu that puts a protein-focused spin on familiar indulgences.

Mishki isn’t trying to make protein food look like gym food. It’s taking familiar indulgences; gelato, Snickers, waffles, coconut and yogurt and giving them a protein-focused twist.

For Bali’s increasingly fitness-driven food culture, that feels very on-brand. The island’s gym, running and wellness communities have created a growing demand for food that can fit around an active lifestyle without feeling like a compromise. So when the late-night craving hits, there is now another option:

Make it protein.
