Wanderlust Fight Center: The Combat Sports Side of Wanderlust

Wanderlust Fitness Village has continued to expand beyond its CrossFit roots, with Wanderlust Fight Center being one of its latest additions. The division reflects the growing interest in combat sports as both a form of exercise and a competitive pursuit in Bali. Led by Wallie Teo, who has been part of Bali’s MMA and combat sports scene for years, Wanderlust Fight Center offers a dedicated program covering boxing and kickboxing while also supporting athletes who want to take their training further.

From Fitness to Fight Training

The weekly schedule includes boxing and kickboxing sessions designed for different levels of experience, making the division accessible to people looking to incorporate combat sports into their training. At the same time, Wanderlust Fight Center takes the competitive side of the sport seriously. The facility has a dedicated fight team training program for athletes preparing to compete, creating a pathway from general classes into more structured fight preparation. The division also hosts its own fight events under the name Garuda Combat, bringing competition into the Wanderlust campus and giving local fighters an opportunity to compete. The combination of regular classes, fight team training, and events has allowed the combat sports division to grow steadily since its introduction.

A Dedicated Combat Sports Setup

The physical setup reflects that approach. Wanderlust Fight Center has its own dedicated strength and conditioning area alongside a combat sports training space and cage. This allows athletes to work on both their technical skills and physical preparation within the same division. For visitors, the practical details are also taken care of. Gloves and hand wraps are available, and towels are provided, meaning people can arrive without having to bring their entire training setup with them.

A Growing Part of Wanderlust

The addition of Wanderlust Fight Center is another indication of how the Wanderlust campus is evolving alongside Bali’s fitness community. Combat sports have become increasingly popular among both local residents and international visitors, with boxing, kickboxing, MMA, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu now forming a significant part of Bali’s broader training culture. With regular boxing and kickboxing classes, a dedicated fight team, its own fight event in Garuda Combat, and facilities built around both training and competition, Wanderlust Fight Center is positioning itself as the combat sports arm of Wanderlust Fitness Village.
